Aberdeen-based company Granite Elite, which was founded in 2019, has provided security at events including the Scottish Traditional Boat Show in Portsoy, the Royal Deeside Motor Show, the Highland Games, various Pride events in the north east of Scotland and local music festivals.
THE organisers for next year’s visit of the Tall Ships Races to Lerwick are appealing for local businesses interested in supporting the event to come forward. The races, which stop off in Lerwick between 26-29 July 2023, will be the biggest event staged in Shetland for more than a decade.
SIXTEEN vessels from eight different nations have signed up to participate in next summer’s Tall Ships Races. Lerwick is one of the host ports for the 2023 event, traditionally one of the highlights of the global sailing calendar, and it is hoped that around 50 ships will ultimately take part.
The organisers of next summer’s Tall Ships event in Lerwick have awarded the contract to provide marketing and PR services for the four-day event to local firm NB Communication, who have agreed to provide a proportion of the service as an in-kind sponsorship contribution.
