Lerwick Harbour, Shetland’s principal deep-water port, is hosting the Tall Ships Races in 2023 for the third time, following memorable visits in 1999 and 2011.
At Britain’s ‘Top Port’ – the country’s most northerly commercial harbour – trainees, crew and vessels will take pride of place in the community and Town Centre for another spectacular event. Sponsorship support from the Lerwick Port Authority includes provision of services for the magnificent fleet at berth and onshore.
Waterfront activities and attractions will include island crafts, food stalls and live music as part of the great Shetland welcome.
