Skreien is a Gaff Cutter which was built in Kristiansund, Norway. The vessel was launched in 1909 and originally used for shipping fish. After a long and varied life at sea over the years, Skreien was restored in 2018 for the current sail training role and can accommodate 10 trainees and 4 crew.
The ship now has a homeport in Fredrikstad, Norway, and has a wooden, green and black hull measuring 18.30 metres, from a total length overall of 23.60 metres including the bowsprit. Skreien is a Class B ship and has a weight of 37 tonnes.
